Aleksandra is a classically trained belly dancer based in Sydney, performing authentic oriental dance at weddings, corporate events, restaurants, birthdays and cultural celebrations across the city. She began dancing at five years old while living in Iran and has performed ever since — theatre stages in Poland, European podiums, and now Sydney.

Why it's different
There's a difference between a performer who has learned some belly dance moves and a dancer trained in the form. Aleksandra dances the full classical repertoire — Baladi, Saidi, Iraqi, Khaleegy, Dabke, Mejance, Egyptian classical and drum solo — with the technique and cultural understanding behind each one. She teaches the form in her Sydney dance classes as well as performing it. For audiences who know the dance, that difference is immediately visible. For audiences who don't, it simply reads as being very, very good.

A 50% deposit confirms your date. The balance is due on the day — then the room lights up.

Shows start at $400 and are tailored to your event, with live musicians available from +$300. A 50% deposit secures your date, and the balance is due on the day.
Usually 12–20 minutes — but every show is tailored. It can be made shorter, longer, or split across a few sets to suit the flow of your event.
The sooner the better — weekend and holiday dates fill quickly. That said, last-minute bookings are sometimes possible, so it's always worth asking.
Weddings, birthdays, corporate nights, restaurants, hotels and cultural celebrations across Sydney — and beyond, with travel arranged. Performances are artistic in nature, so they aren't available for all-male groups.
Yes — I bring my own music and a full range of props (veil, wings, SideStick and LED). You're welcome to send songs you'd love included. Just check your venue can play music out loud — clear, loud sound matters, because the magic is in seeing the movement match the music. Live musicians can be added for extra atmosphere.
Yes — in both the Classic and Signature show. I usually open with my own performance, then invite guests up to join the fun, so the room warms up naturally. It's always a highlight of the night.
They're the same art form under two names. "Oriental dance" — raqs sharqi — is the term used across the Middle East and by trained dancers; "belly dance" is the common English name. Aleksandra performs the classical form along with its regional folk styles.
